CallerPro vs. Local Call AI
Both are AI receptionists built for contractors rather than for offices, and both answer, qualify and book around the clock. The two real differences are where each one stops — Local Call AI at the booking, CallerPro at the paid invoice — and what that costs. Including where Local Call AI is the better buy.
Adding a card is what gets you a real phone number with your agent answering on it. You pay $0 today, nothing is charged for 14 days, and you can cancel from Settings before then.
CallerPro is an AI front-office platform for small home-service businesses. Starter answers calls, qualifies leads, books appointments and notifies you. Pro and Scale add invoicing, payments and Books reporting, with the relevant integrations configured.
Local Call AI vs. CallerPro
| Local Call AI | CallerPro | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does on the call | Answers in your business’s name, qualifies the caller, triages emergencies and books into your calendar or FSM | The same: answers, qualifies, triages emergencies to your on-call number and books during the call |
| What happens after the job | Not part of the product — the booking is where it ends | Invoice sent by email and text, payment collected, follow-ups chased and the record filed in your books (Pro and Scale) |
| Entry price | $297/month, published as a flat rate with no contract | $79/month on Starter, $149 on Pro, $299 on Scale; 20% off billed yearly |
| How minutes work | Positioned as flat-rate answering; check their current page for the limits that apply | 250, 750 or 2,000 talk-minutes by plan, then a published $0.30, $0.28 or $0.25 a minute |
| Try before you buy | Talk to their team to get started | Self-serve 14-day free trial with your own number — call it yourself and read the transcript |
| Payments | Not handled | Card payments settle in your own Stripe account; Venmo, Cash App, Zelle and PayPal are your handles. CallerPro is never the merchant of record |
| Bookkeeping | Not handled | Revenue, sales tax and accounts-receivable reporting, with CSV export for QuickBooks, Xero or Wave |
| Field service integrations | Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceTitan and FieldEdge | Housecall Pro, Google Calendar, and a built-in scheduler for shops with no FSM |
| Spanish | Included | Turn on bilingual mode and the agent switches to Spanish when the caller does |

Choose local call ai if…
- You run on ServiceTitan or FieldEdge, which CallerPro does not integrate with today
- You already have invoicing, payments and bookkeeping you are happy with, and only want the phone answered
- Your call volume is high enough that a flat rate with no minute counting is worth the higher price
- You would rather be onboarded by a person than set it up yourself
Choose CallerPro if…
- The paperwork after the job is as much of a problem as the phone — the chasing, the invoicing, the year-end reckoning
- You want to try it today, on your own number, without booking a call with anyone
- You want to start at $79 a month rather than $297, and see what a week of answered calls is actually worth first
- You want card payments landing in your own Stripe account, recorded against the job automatically

The comparison that matters. A full-time receptionist costs about $3,168 a month in wages alone (U.S. median $18.27/hour, BLS, May 2025) and covers 40 hours a week. CallerPro Starter is $79 a month and answers nights and weekends too.

Common questions
What is the difference between CallerPro and Local Call AI?
Where each one stops. Local Call AI is an AI receptionist for contractors: it answers, qualifies and books the job. CallerPro does that and then carries the job through to the money — the invoice goes out by email and text, the payment is collected into your own Stripe account, unpaid invoices are chased, and the transaction lands in your books ready to export (Pro and Scale).
The other difference is the entry price and how you try it: Local Call AI publishes a flat $297 a month, and CallerPro starts at $79 a month with a self-serve 14-day free trial.
Why is CallerPro so much cheaper?
Because the plans are metered on talk-minutes rather than sold as unlimited. CallerPro Starter is $79 a month with 250 talk-minutes included, Pro is $149 with 750, and Scale is $299 with 2,000; past that you pay a published $0.30, $0.28 or $0.25 a minute and the call is never cut off. If you talk a very large number of minutes every month, a flat-rate competitor can work out cheaper — that is an honest outcome of this pricing, not an accident of it. Local Call AI’s published rate is $297 a month as of September 17, 2026.
Do both handle emergency calls?
Both triage emergencies. CallerPro’s escalation is yours to define: you set what counts as an emergency for your trade, and emergency language routes to your on-call number rather than being written down for the morning. A caller can also press nine at any point to reach a person, and anything the agent has not been told is taken down rather than guessed at.
What if I use ServiceTitan or Jobber?
CallerPro integrates with Housecall Pro and Google Calendar today, and includes a built-in scheduler for shops with no field service software. There is no live ServiceTitan or Jobber integration, and this site will not claim one before the code exists — Local Call AI publishes both, so if that is what decides it, they are the better fit for you right now.
