CallerPro vs. Jobber
Jobber is established field service management software — quoting, scheduling, invoicing — and it now sells an AI Receptionist as a $29-a-month add-on. CallerPro is the other way round: the phone is the product, and the job, the invoice and the record follow from the call. Here is where each one genuinely wins.
Adding a card is what gets you a real phone number with your agent answering on it. You pay $0 today, nothing is charged for 14 days, and you can cancel from Settings before then.
CallerPro is an AI front-office platform for small home-service businesses. Starter answers calls, qualifies leads, books appointments and notifies you. Pro and Scale add invoicing, payments and Books reporting, with the relevant integrations configured.
Jobber vs. CallerPro
| Jobber | CallerPro | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Field service management software: quotes, scheduling, invoicing and reporting, with an AI Receptionist sold as an add-on | An AI front office: the call is answered, qualified, booked, invoiced, paid and filed |
| Entry price | Core $49/month, no commitment, 1 user included; extra users $29/month each | $79/month flat, whole business, no per-user charge |
| AI answering | AI Receptionist add-on at $29/month, included on the Plus plan; Core + the add-on is $78/month for one user | Included in every plan, from $79/month, with 250 talk-minutes on Starter |
| Call triage | A general-purpose receptionist across the trades Jobber serves | Trade-specific: burst-pipe, no-heat and electrical-hazard calls are recognised and routed to your on-call number |
| What the AI is billed on | A flat add-on price per month | Talk-minutes included per plan, then a published $0.30, $0.28 or $0.25 a minute — a call is never cut off mid-sentence |
| Who holds your customers’ money | Jobber Payments processes card payments, published at 2.9% + 30¢ (2.7% + 30¢ tap to pay, 1% ACH) | CallerPro is never the merchant of record: card payments settle in your own Stripe account, and Venmo, Cash App, Zelle and PayPal are your handles |
| Scheduling and dispatch | Full scheduling, dispatch, job costing, two-way SMS and a marketing suite on higher plans | Books into Google Calendar, Housecall Pro or the built-in scheduler; no dispatch board, routing or job costing |
| Getting started | Self-serve free trial | Self-serve 14-day free trial of any plan |
Jobber details are taken from Jobber’s public website as of September 16, 2026 and may have changed since. Jobber is a trademark of its owner; CallerPro is not affiliated with Jobber. Jobber prices are the no-commitment monthly rates published on Jobber’s pricing page on September 17, 2026; Jobber also publishes lower rates for annual and one-year-commitment billing.
Choose jobber if…
- You need real field service management: a dispatch board, job costing, quoting and crew scheduling
- You already run your business in Jobber and want one login rather than one more tool
- You are happy paying card processing to the same company that schedules your jobs
- You have several office users and want them all working in the same system of record
Choose CallerPro if…
- The phone is the actual problem — you are losing jobs to voicemail, not to bad scheduling
- You want emergencies triaged by trade, so a burst pipe reaches your cell and a quote request does not
- You want your customers’ card payments landing in your own Stripe account with no cut taken by your software
- You are one to five trucks with no office staff, and $79 flat is easier to defend than a plan plus an add-on plus per-user fees

$0 today. Nothing is charged for 14 days, and you can cancel from Settings before then.
The comparison that matters. A full-time receptionist costs about $3,168 a month in wages alone (U.S. median $18.27/hour, BLS, May 2025) and covers 40 hours a week. CallerPro Starter is $79 a month and answers nights and weekends too.
Your money goes to you. CallerPro is never the merchant of record. Card payments settle into your own Stripe account, and Venmo, Cash App, Zelle and PayPal pay you directly.

Common questions
What is the difference between CallerPro and Jobber’s AI Receptionist?
Scope. Jobber’s AI Receptionist is an add-on to field service management software: it answers the phone for a business already running on Jobber. CallerPro is built the other way round — answering, qualifying and booking the call is the product, and invoicing, payment collection and the books record follow from it on Pro and Scale.
The practical difference for a trade is triage. CallerPro is shaped around home-service emergencies: a burst pipe, a no-heat call in February or a burning smell at a panel is recognised as urgent and routed to your on-call number, rather than taken as a message.
Is CallerPro cheaper than Jobber?
Compare what you would actually buy. Jobber publishes Core at $49 a month with one user included and the AI Receptionist as a $29-a-month add-on, so answering plus the software is $78 a month for a single user, with extra users at $29 each. CallerPro is $79 a month flat for the business, with 250 talk-minutes included and no per-user charge. Figures read from Jobber’s pricing page on September 17, 2026.
The larger number is usually the card processing, not the subscription. Jobber publishes Jobber Payments at 2.9% + 30¢ for cards. CallerPro adds nothing to your payments — they settle in your own Stripe account at your own Stripe rate.
Can I use CallerPro if I already run Jobber?
Not as an integration today. CallerPro integrates with Google Calendar and Housecall Pro, and has a built-in scheduler; there is no live Jobber integration, and this site does not claim one it cannot honour. Shops that run both usually let CallerPro answer, qualify and book into Google Calendar, then work the job in Jobber. If a direct Jobber integration is what decides it for you, say so at [email protected] — that is how this gets prioritised.
Do I have to change my phone number to try CallerPro?
No. You get a CallerPro number and forward your existing business line to it. Nothing changes on your trucks, your van wraps or your Google Business Profile, and you can undo the forward in a minute if you do not like it.
